March 2014 brought a Cassin’s Vireo into my yard, and I managed to capture respectable images. Hutton’s Vireos are regular visitors to the oak trees on my property, but other vireos are rarely seen here. The Cassin’s was a treat.
Of the other birds presented in the gallery below, Western Wood Pewees visit me here only occasionally, but are nice to see when they come through. Pacific-Slope (or Western) Flycatchers are regular here in spring and summer. Song Sparrows and Oak Titmice can be found year round.
