Also called Large-Eared Woodrat, Dusky-Footed Woodrat, and Pack Rat. This animal builds large nests of wood scraps and branches in chaparral. This nest was almost seven feet high and found in Coastal Live Oak and chaparral habitat in Poway, California. San Diego County.
