Forster's Tern

Description:

The bills of Forster’s Terns are supposed to be orange with a black tip. It took a close look at the image to see that it was mud on this birds bill that gave it an odd coloration. Viewed from the edge of the marshes at South San Diego Bay near 7th Street in Imperial Beach, California. San Diego County.
