Dark-Eyed Junco

Description:

Chickadees dominated the scene where I waited for rosy finches, but a few juncos came in as well, and they appeared to be the Gray-Headed variety. I drove to the Sandia Crest (elevation 10,600′) outside of Albuquerque, to discover what high elevation birds I might encounter.
