Spotted Sandpiper(Actitis macularius) |
|
Description: Before departing from Fort Saint John and Charlie Lake, in British Columbia, I kept my eyes open for likely places to meet birds along the 230 miles of Alaska Highway to Fort Nelson, when a muddy basin left over from the destruction of a beaver dam caught my attention. I stopped to discover a pair of Spotted Sandpipers foraging. |
