Memories of Daley Ranch

The Daley Ranch and Dixon Lake could be considered as closely related. They are next-door neighbors. But there are significant differences. Much of Lake Dixon’s features can be accessed by car. To reach the Daley Ranch’s features, you are limited to hiking and biking. And with more than 20 miles of trails, there is a lot to discover.

I have not spent enough time here to speak authoritatively about all its features. But in February-2015, I rode my bike out to the old ranch house, and poked around a couple of the side trails. My investigation was just enough to show that this location was worth further explorations.
